RECC Principal David Stripling is a renewable energy veteran with extensive experience in all aspects of the development, design, financing, and construction of renewable energy, energy efficiency and commercial construction projects. Prior to joining RECC, David Stripling was the Director- Corporate Development at Soligent, where he designed and developed their Solar Engine program, a residential finance and customer acquisition platform that developed over three thousand residential PV projects. With over 15 years of experience in energy infrastructure related services, David holds a General Engineering Contractor’s Licenses in California, as well as licenses in Hawaii and Arizona. Most recently David has focused on program design to develop commercial and residential photovoltaic energy projects. He has developed and constructed over $100 Million of renewable energy and commercial real estate projects, and has gained extensive experience in financial modeling, sales, channel sales, project management, operations, strategy, and program development in all areas of the solar industry. In 2012 he was awarded the Jesse Fink Fellowship in Impact Investing by the Presidio Graduate School of Business and was also a finalist in The Hult Business School’s Global Business Case Challenge, the world’s largest business case competition. He earned an MBA in Sustainability from the Presidio Graduate School of Business, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.
